Project details

Frame-Tek was engaged to deliver a bespoke prefabricated framing solution for the external facade support and complex curved awnings at the Surry Hills Village Development.

Our Optim Series Off-Slab Framing system was engineered to support key architectural and structural elements, including curved windows, brick slip facade, fire stair structures, and bulkhead framing— ensuring full alignment with the design intent.

To replace heavy structural steel in the curved awnings, our light-structural solution was introduced using Frame-Tek’s Accent Series Feature Framing. This enhanced on-site efficiency while preserving architectural intent

The result was a fully integrated system that optimised structural performance and delivered a clean aesthetic in line with the project’s vision.
